Bruton High School Band

Hello and welcome to the Bruton High School Band website. Home of the Marching Panthers.

The Bruton High School Band program has a marching band and a concert band that compete and perform in events such as VBODA assessments and the York County band expo. The band welcomed a new director, Gabe Stone, in 2025.

Mr. Stone teaches various music courses including brass, percussion, guitar, and music appreciation. He also teaches at the College of William & Mary, directing ensembles and giving low brass lessons. He holds degrees from the University of South Carolina and Shenandoah Conservatory, and studied with several notable musicians.

It’s that time of year for the winter concert and we will be having a bake sale. If you are able to have your baked goods at the school wrapped/packaged by 6pm on December 10 we appreciate it. Please let us know what your bringing so we don’t have too many of one thing.

Attire: Provided by BHS: Black Tux Pants & Black Button Ups. Perf @ 7pm.
